Asgard, Midgard and Utgard - Gods reside in Heaven, Demons in the Underworld and humans, elves and all other kind of beings live together on the middle-world. Living in an eternal struggle for dominance amongst each other, Midgard used to be the battlefield of the Gods from Asgard and the Demons from Utgard.
This war was called 'The Eternal War'. To end the meaningless fighting and to enable life on the wasted land of Midgard, 4 Gods and 4 Demons sacrificed their lives to turn into pure Mana, giving life to the forsaken world. The fighting ended but now the wielders of this Mana- the 8 Great Spirits of Midgard- disappeared, opening a new path for chaos, destruction and warfare. Read from Right to Left!
