Cloth-design n Ornament Lesson by =
Deamond89 is a highly useful tutorial for drawing detailed clothing. The artist uses humorous manga style characters to keep all the information from getting too dry, and the information within is easy to follow. This is an excellent resource for anyone that wants to learn how to design a unique look for their original characters. (

On to the critique!
First off, is there a title to this lesson? I want to see it on the image large and clear! (Not just the title of the deviation.)
Secondly, because this is such a large file, I found that reading in order was really difficult when I had scrolled down Steps 1 and 2, and kept going to 4, realizing I had to scroll all the way back up and horizontally to see Step 3.
I know that the image file gets insanely long if you placed Step 3 under 2 and before 4 in a long, long, long file--but that's actually easier to scroll through and to read naturally. This would be different if you were to make it "page" format rather than "screen" format.
You could also have broken this into two lessons instead of one. Sometimes too much information is overwhelming in one lesson. Best to focus on one key point to take away. Personally I think the color theory can be a lesson by itself.
Good points: The background does not interfere but compliments the text and images. It's really annoying to read text over images unless there is enough saturation to tell the layers apart, so I like what you've done with the color scheme.
The font is good. Personally I prefer lowercase and uppercase because an all-caps font feels like I'm being yelled at. But this type of all-caps font is regularly used in comics, so I can't complain too much. It is a perfectly legible font.
However, there is still one more nit-picky detail to be addressed: font size. I think that varying the size at least between regular/normal text and headings will make your work seem much more organized and clearer at first glance on the thumbnail, as your eye naturally is drawn toward the bigger letters, so you can see what direction to read. Sometimes bold is not enough, so a good contrast in size is more eye-catching.
Lastly, your narration is good. It's very lively and even though English isn't your first language, your communication skill is very strong. Mistakes can easily be overlooked as part of your accent. It's hard to say what's proper English now anyway.
Try to avoid breaking up words as much as possible--it's okay to have blank space in the speech bubble. It's much harder to read Des--next line--igning than Designing. Other than that, I like the text.
To sum things up, the lesson was a good read. The screenshots and the text compliment each other smoothly and effortlessly, with lots of cute humor along the way. And Skye, you are a very good model.
